👟 EDUCATION by lowering barriers to school attendance
👟 HOPE by demonstrating worth and God’s love
👟 OPPORTUNITY by connecting families to critical services and programs at Buckner Family Hope Centers around the world.
➡️ Please drop NEW shoes (toddler thru adult sizes) at the One City Cares table by the One City Cafe by April 28! For more information or to donate online, click here.
Remember!! It’s more than a pair of shoes…it’s the first step toward transformation!

One City Cares Serve Day

By

Our FIRST One City Cares Serve Day is coming up on Saturday, March 9 from 8:00am-12:00 pm. We will be going out in teams all over SETX to serve and be the hands and feet of Jesus.

Many of the organizations we partner with around SETX have project needs and on Serve Day, we want to address these needs to support and enhance the valuable work they are doing in our communities. We also need help in One City Tots (ages 0-3) and One City Kids (ages 4-8) on Serve Day so families can participate in the outreach. Please know, children ages 9+ can participate in Serve Day as long as they are with their parent or guardian at the project site.

If you are interested in serving on a project team or helping with One City Tots/Kids, please sign up here.

Have questions or need more information? Call Pastor Amy Everett at 409-892-8475 ext. 2226 or email [email protected].

2023 One City Cares Giving Tree

By

The One City Cares Giving Tree is dripping with opportunities for you to give back this Christmas. The first opportunity is to purchase visa gift cards for the Harvest House Angels to care for the program participants’ basic, day to day needs. Look for the ivory tags on the Giving Tree!

We have also adopted a Kings Club family of 7. Just a little bit about this beautiful family…they are led by a strong single mom with 2 boys and 4 girls, 2 of which are twins…the 8 year old little girl has cerebral palsy and will have surgery in the new year. They’ve also been moving from transitional housing to living with family after their last home had irreparable roof damage but thankfully, they’ve just moved into a rent home. Let’s bless this family with an amazing Christmas! Look for the blue tags on the Giving Tree!

Lastly, we are partnering with Buckner Beaumont to bless local boys and girls in and out of foster care. Look for the green tags on the Giving Tree!

We will be collected gifts from now until Tuesday, Dec 12th. Please bring all gifts UNWRAPPED so we know what has come in. For more information about the Giving Tree, contact Pastor Amy Everett at the church office 409-892-8475, ext 2226 or email [email protected].

One City Cares Food Drive

For more information, please call Pastor Amy Everett at 409.892.8475, ext. 2226 or email [email protected].

One City Cares Blood Drive

By

We have another opportunity for you to give back at our annual Fall Carnival on Tuesday, October 31st from 5:30-8:00 pm. The LifeShare Bus will be at the Event Center so while you’re here, set aside just a few minutes to make a life changing donation.

Remember, your donation has the potential to save lives with every unit collected helping up to three people in need. To make an appointment and reserve your spot, go to onecity.church/drive. Appointments are highly encouraged for this one as there are limited spots on the bus to donate. We hope to see you there!

  3. Help volunteer the day of the event, Sat. Dec 17th from 4-8pm. Sign up here: onecity.church/christmasinthepark

Melton Center Thanksgiving Outreach 2022

By No Comments

One City Cares is excited to bless the Melton Center, a local Women’s Recovery Center here in Beaumont, with a Thanksgiving Feast and we need your help! Please go here and choose a side dish or dessert to be dropped off at the Melton Center (1785 Washington Blvd, Beaumont) on Wed, Nov 23 from 9am-5pm; the center will be providing the meat.

There are 57 women total so we’re asking each recipe feed 10-12 women. If you want to sign up for 2 sides because your recipe feeds double, that works as well. Please note, we are asking all food be brought in disposable dishes.

If you have any questions, please call Pastor Amy Everett at the church office, 409-892-8475, or email [email protected]
