It’s time to collect items for our annual Operation Christmas Child outreach. Items collected will go in shoeboxes to be shipped to children all over the world this December. For many, this is the only Christmas gift they will receive.
All donations can be dropped off at the Welcome Center, the back foyer by the playground or at One City Kids thru the end of July- just look for the Christmas boxes. For a list of suggested donation items, please go onecity.church/operationchristmaschild.

Recovery ALIVE works through a 12 step recovery process to promote healthy change centered around “3 P’s”, the POWER of Recovery, the PEOPLE of Recovery, and the PROCESS of Recovery.

Our FIRST One City Cares Serve Day is coming up on Saturday, March 9 from 8:00am-12:00 pm. We will be going out in teams all over SETX to serve and be the hands and feet of Jesus.
Many of the organizations we partner with around SETX have project needs and on Serve Day, we want to address these needs to support and enhance the valuable work they are doing in our communities. We also need help in One City Tots (ages 0-3) and One City Kids (ages 4-8) on Serve Day so families can participate in the outreach. Please know, children ages 9+ can participate in Serve Day as long as they are with their parent or guardian at the project site.
If you are interested in serving on a project team or helping with One City Tots/Kids, please sign up here.
Have questions or need more information? Call Pastor Amy Everett at 409-892-8475 ext. 2226 or email [email protected].
The One City Cares Giving Tree is dripping with opportunities for you to give back this Christmas. The first opportunity is to purchase visa gift cards for the Harvest House Angels to care for the program participants’ basic, day to day needs. Look for the ivory tags on the Giving Tree!
We have also adopted a Kings Club family of 7. Just a little bit about this beautiful family…they are led by a strong single mom with 2 boys and 4 girls, 2 of which are twins…the 8 year old little girl has cerebral palsy and will have surgery in the new year. They’ve also been moving from transitional housing to living with family after their last home had irreparable roof damage but thankfully, they’ve just moved into a rent home. Let’s bless this family with an amazing Christmas! Look for the blue tags on the Giving Tree!
Lastly, we are partnering with Buckner Beaumont to bless local boys and girls in and out of foster care. Look for the green tags on the Giving Tree!
We will be collected gifts from now until Tuesday, Dec 12th. Please bring all gifts UNWRAPPED so we know what has come in. For more information about the Giving Tree, contact Pastor Amy Everett at the church office 409-892-8475, ext 2226 or email [email protected].
The holidays are not always the “most wonderful time of year” for SETX families in need. We will be collecting dry goods from Nov. 5-19th to help provide for the much anticipated Thanksgiving and Christmas meal for SETX families. Please bring your donated items to the One City Cares table in the Welcome Center and we will take care of the rest! For more information, please call Pastor Amy Everett at 409.892.8475, ext. 2226 or email [email protected].
One City Cares will be hosting “Shoes for Orphan Souls”; a collection thru Buckner International here at One City now thru May 4th.
We are asking you to bring new shoes, both kids and adult sizes, as they will go to children up to age 18. Please know that many of these shoes will go to children currently walking barefoot in muddy, rocky terrain causing parasites and diseases stunting their physical development. Also, most schools require children wear shoes to be able to attend but for many poverty stricken families, shoes are a luxury they can’t afford.
Please drop your shoes off at one of the collection boxes by the Cafe or back entrance closest to the playground. Unable to shop for shoes? Go here and donate online!
One City Cares has a very exciting giving opportunity this Christmas season! We will be sponsoring a Foster Family of 7 with 5 children under the age of 3. If you would like to bless this amazing family, please go to our Giving Tree in the Welcome Center right by the cafe and grab a green tag with the suggested gift items. Please bring all gifts back to the church unwrapped by Sunday, Dec. 4th along with the accompanying tag. If you do not attend One City Church or are unable to get a tag from our Giving Tree, please call Pastor Amy Everett at the church office, 409-892-8475, or email [email protected] and we will get the information to you!
This Christmas we have the opportunity to bless 3 boys currently with Boys Haven, a residential program for at risk youth. If you would like to make their Christmas extra special, stop by our giving tree in the Welcome Center and grab a BLUE tag. We are asking all gifts be brought back to the church, UNWRAPPED, by Sunday, December 4th. If you have any questions about this outreach, please contact Pastor Amy Everett at 409-892-8475.
It’s time for our annual Operation Christmas Child Packing party. We started collecting items this summer that will go in shoeboxes to be shipped to children all over the world this December. For many, this is the only Christmas gift they will receive.
We will meet on Wed, November 9 in the Kids Bldg from 6:30-8pm to pack the shoeboxes. Pizza will be provided. We are still in need of drawstring bags, zip pencil pouches, wash cloths, bar soap, toothbrushes and soap/toothbrush holders. All donations can be dropped off at the Welcome Center thru November 9. For more information about what Operation Christmas Child is, please go onecity.church/occ or call Pastor Amy at the church office, 409-892-8475.
One City Church will be hosting our annual Fall Carnival on Sunday, October 30th from 5-7pm in the Event Center. This year’s fall carnival will be like none we’ve ever had before! There will be a game trailer, bungee run, bounce houses, face painting, a fire truck, free hot dogs and popcorn, a photo booth, LifeShare’s donation bus will be here and of course, TONS of candy!
If you would like to donate candy, there are crates at our main church entrances and we will collect up until Oct. 30. If you would like to volunteer at the carnival, please sign up at www.onecity.church/carnivalvolunteer. We anticipate close to 1,000 people so we need all hands on deck!
We’re also asking everyone, volunteers and non volunteers, to pre-register here: www.onecity.church/carnival
We are so excited to once again partner with Night Strike Beaumont for the 2022 annual Christmas in the Park- an outreach to the homeless community of SETX as well as families in need this Christmas season.
One City Cares is sponsoring the men’s Christmas tree and gifts and we would love for you to join us.
You can participate in 4 ways:
- Donate one or more items that will be given at the event. Be on the lookout for the One City Cares Christmas tree that will be in the Welcome Center with “ornament wishes”- items needed for the men’s tree- all donations needed to be returned to the church UNWRAPPED by December 5th- this is important so everything can be sorted and labeled.
- Gift wrapping workday for the men’s Christmas tree on Mon, Dec 12th. Sign up here: onecity.church/christmasinthepark
- Help volunteer the day of the event, Sat. Dec 17th from 4-8pm. Sign up here: onecity.church/christmasinthepark
- Give financially towards this outreach by going to onecity.church/give and choose One City Cares from the drop down menu.
This will be an amazing time of ministry with gifts, a Christmas dinner and a time of sharing salvation to all. If you have questions, please call Pastor Amy Everett at the church office, 409-892-8475, or email [email protected].
One City Cares is excited to bless the Melton Center, a local Women’s Recovery Center here in Beaumont, with a Thanksgiving Feast and we need your help! Please go here and choose a side dish or dessert to be dropped off at the Melton Center (1785 Washington Blvd, Beaumont) on Wed, Nov 23 from 9am-5pm; the center will be providing the meat.
There are 57 women total so we’re asking each recipe feed 10-12 women. If you want to sign up for 2 sides because your recipe feeds double, that works as well. Please note, we are asking all food be brought in disposable dishes.
If you have any questions, please call Pastor Amy Everett at the church office, 409-892-8475, or email [email protected]
As families prepare to go back to school in just a few weeks, we wanted to come alongside and help ease the burden. Between school supplies, new clothes, shoes, backpacks and more, things can add up quickly. We will be holding a Back to School Drive from now until August 21 where you can purchase items off our Amazon “wish list” by going to https://www.amazon.com/hz/wishlist/ls/A25PILG0RRHB?type=wishlist or you can pick up a paper copy at the Welcome Center. All items purchased on Amazon can be shipped to the church or you can drop them off at the Welcome Center.
If your family needs assistance getting back to school items or for more information, please contact Pastor Amy at the church office, 892-8475.
